Abstract:

We describe an argumentation suggesting that the  "finite quantum space"  corresponding to the exceptional real Jordan algebra (the Euclidean Albert algebra) is relevant for the description of internal spaces of fundamental particles. This leads us to develop the differential calculus on Jordan algebras and to define the theory of connection on Jordan bimodules. We give some indications of what can be done for more general categories of algebras.
