I will present Weyl's formula that express the volume of a tubular neighborhood of a submanifold of R^n. We will first state the formula and see why it is interesting. Then we will show how it is proved trying to avoid as much as possible the (numerous) technical details. We will then present interesting features and what can be said in curved spaces.
